About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Addictions Counsellor to join our dedicated team at Priory Hospital North London.

As an Addictions Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction, facilitating process-oriented and supportive groups, and upholding programme boundaries to facilitate successful recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate group work and support patients moving through the 12 steps of recovery
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments, inpatient assessments, and 1:1 therapy sessions
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to weekly care planning
  • Proactively manage case loads and work in synergy with the team
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualification and registration with the NCPS or BACP
  • Accredited therapist or working towards accreditation
  • Demonstrated history of acting with integrity, being supportive, and striving for excellence
