About the Role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our Post Transaction Team, specializing in pension risk transfer and scheme wind-up. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition of pension schemes to buy-out and wind-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans to drive forward completion of tasks against timescales
  • Provide strategic thinking and suggest solutions to complex problems, while recognizing potential risks and issues
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their advisers, and insurers to ensure a smooth and successful transition
  • Oversee financial aspects and manage risks associated with projects
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a pensions consulting environment or with a bulk annuity provider
  • Proven experience of insurer post-transaction processes and wider aspects of pension scheme wind-ups
  • Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements around wind-ups
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to develop detailed project plans
