Job Title: Construction Project Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Planner to join our Landscaping team at Ground Control. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of our landscape construction projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules to ensure all activities are planned effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination of resources, materials, and labour.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Assist in budget forecasting, cost management, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project timelines, risks, and critical paths.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Project Scheduler, ideally in a construction or civil engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in using planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta, MS Project, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
