About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Planner to join our dynamic team at Sustainable Talent. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of our projects by developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to monitor progress, identify potential delays, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to gather information on project tasks, resource availability, and milestones.
  • Analyze project data to report on project progress, identifying critical paths and potential risks.
  • Provide regular schedule updates, forecasts, and reports to senior management and clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports, and contribute to planning meetings and project reviews.
  • Ensure that all project schedules comply with industry standards, company procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in risk assessment workshops, contributing to the development of mitigation plans.
  • Continuously review and improve project planning processes to optimize efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Planner in the power systems or related engineering sectors.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly in engineering and construction projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and present information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the power industry, renewable energy, or HV infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field (APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications are a plus).
