About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care team in Bath and North East Somerset. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting vulnerable adults, working closely with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for vulnerable adults
  • Work with service users and carers to identify and address their needs
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective support and services
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users and carers
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, care plans, and interventions

Requirements

  • Relevant social work qualification (e.g., Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, or Degree in Social Work)
  • Registered Social Worker with the appropriate professional body
  • Experience of working in social care, managing a varied caseload, and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
