Job Overview:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice to complete their Level 2 Childcare qualification.

About the Role:

As a Childcare Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a stimulating and safe environment that promotes learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily care and education of children, including feeding, changing, and personal hygiene
  • Interact with children and support their learning and development
  • Work with room leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery
  • Participate in observations and assessments to monitor children's progress
  • Liaise with parents and key workers to ensure effective communication

Requirements:

  • Must be able to gain a clear DBS
  • GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent

Qualities Required:

  • Confident and outgoing individual with good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and children

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:30pm
  • Minimum 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
