Job Description:

Early Years Educator - The Muddy Boots Project

Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Early Years Educator at The Muddy Boots Project - Kindergarten & Childcare.

The Muddy Boots Project is a unique forest childcare provider that prioritizes outdoor learning and development. Our setting is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, with a focus on promoting healthy eating and physical activity.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • Support the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, sharing information about children's development and well-being.
  • Observe and assess children's development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
  • Support children's personal care needs and contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming setting.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Working Hours:

  • The Muddy Boots Project is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • You will ideally have GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent.
  • A Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired.
