Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stafford. As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Routine and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
  2. Electrical fault finding and repairs.
  3. Mechanical repairs and part fabrication.
  4. Working on a variety of filling, packaging, and production machinery.
  5. Swift response to machinery breakdowns to ensure continuous production.
  6. Occasional overtime to complete urgent repairs and cover for team members during holidays or illness.
  7. Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Requirements:

  1. 18th Edition Electrical qualifications.
  2. Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an FMCG environment.
  3. Ability to work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  4. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
  5. Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training.
  6. Additional skills such as MEWP, FLT, first aid, and TIG welding are advantageous.
  7. Agile and capable of working in various positions, including using ladders.
