About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Headteacher to join our team at Co-op Academy Brierley, a brand new specialist through-school opening in September 2023 in Leeds. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience for our pupils with complex educational and medical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for Co-op Academy Brierley, working closely with the Headteacher to drive excellence in all aspects of provision.
- Develop and implement operational plans to promote and sustain school improvement, ensuring that the vision and priorities are clearly articulated and shared.
- Build leadership capacity and promote a culture of excellence at Co-op Academy Southfield, a well-established large secondary special school in Bradford.
- Collaborate with the Co-op Academies Trust to secure excellence in all aspects of provision, embedding cooperative values and principles into the learning experiences for pupils.
Requirements
- Proven track record of exceptional strategic leadership and vision in a special education setting.
- Strong understanding of cooperative values and principles, with the ability to embed them into the learning experiences for pupils.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a leadership team, driving excellence in all aspects of provision.
