Senior Mechanical Certification Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Certification Engineer to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing certification programs to demonstrate compliance to regulatory and OEM requirements in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute certification programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and OEM requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address certification-related issues.
- Review and approve prototype designs and drawings to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Develop and manage tools and processes to track certification results, testing, and compliance findings.
- Provide technical and process support for certifications of products, especially for project managers and engineers.
- Minimum +5 years of experience in relevant field (Certification/Airworthiness CVE within a Business Class Seating experience in working closely with EASA and FAA).
- Degree in engineering or similar preferred Aviation related studies.
- Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, a sense of urgency, and sensitivity to deadlines.
- Operational knowledge of all certification test equipment.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of FAA.
- AutoCAD and/or CATIA V5 familiarity.
