Senior Mechanical Certification Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Certification Engineer to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our certification team, you will be responsible for developing and executing certification programs to demonstrate compliance to regulatory and OEM requirements in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute certification programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and OEM requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address certification-related issues
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on certification-related matters
- Develop and maintain certification-related tools and processes
- Ensure timely completion of certifications and compliance findings
- Minimum +5 years of experience in relevant field (Certification/Airworthiness CVE within a Business Class Seating experience in working closely with EASA and FAA)
- Degree in engineering or similar preferred Aviation related studies
- Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, a sense of urgency and sensitivity to deadlines, and detail oriented
- Operational knowledge of all certification test equipment
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of FAA
- AutoCAD and/or CATIA V5 familiarity
