Occupational Health Nurse Opportunity

Reed is proud to be working with a leading manufacturer in Wantage, Oxfordshire, to find an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join their team.

This is a temporary (locum) position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £25-£40 (negotiable depending on experience) for 30 hours per week. The role is flexible, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with other clinicians and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the full occupational health remit, including complex case management, health surveillance, health promotion, and education.
  • Complete workplace visits and attend absence meetings.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide professional leadership, advice, and support to managers and employees.
  • Assess individual risk for employees presenting with perceived mental health issues and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with departmental protocols and GDPR guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Experience in occupational health nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records.
