Job Summary:

A leading bespoke equipment and design consultancy, Automation Experts Ltd, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on specialist projects and contribute to the company's success.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop electrical power and control systems for bespoke equipment, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, risk assessments, and manuals.
  • Provide exceptional client support, including on-site and remote assistance.
  • Peer review engineering designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Travel to customer sites for commissioning activities, representing the company with professionalism and expertise.

About You:

  • Hold a degree in an engineering discipline, with a strong background in hardware design and PLC programming.
  • Have experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLC software, with a preference for familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Be willing to travel for commissioning activities, both within the UK and internationally.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills, with a clear and tenacious approach to technical challenges.
