Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical power and control systems for bespoke equipment.

Your expertise in hardware design, PLC programming, and network design will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from concept design to commissioning, and will be expected to provide technical documentation and support to clients.

Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
  2. Hardware design experience essential
  3. PLC Software experience – Siemens or Rockwell
  4. Familiarity of AutoCAD Electrical useful but not essential
  5. Experience of Power Systems or HV highly desirable for this role
  6. Ability to work on projects without direct supervision
  7. Flexibility to travel for commissioning outside the UK when required
  8. Clear thinker with tenacity to solve technical problems
  9. Adaptable and willing to take on challenges

Located in Tyne & Wear, this role would be commutable from Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas.
