Senior Purchasing Advisor

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Purchasing Advisor to join our team at Undisclosed Company. As a key member of our fleet department, you will be responsible for facilitating the order and delivery of new vehicles while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Communicate with customers and vehicle suppliers to identify vehicle requirements
* Liaise with nominated dealers to obtain quotations and issue vehicle purchase orders
* Progress vehicle orders weekly, keeping systems and customers updated
* Liaise between dealer and customer to arrange new vehicle delivery
* Payment of supplier vehicle invoices
* Ensure reporting is conducted and kept up to date
* Responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and interdepartmental activities
* Produce weekly/monthly business and third-party reports and manipulate data into presentable formats
* Support the team manager with prioritization of workload/tasks to ensure agreed SLAs are met, both personally and for the team

**Requirements**

* Existing knowledge of automotive products and other manufacturers
* Understanding of fleet leasing solutions
* Data management experience, including reviewing processes and reporting while proposing efficiencies and process enhancements when identified
* Advanced MS Excel/data manipulation skillset, including functions such as vlookup, pivot tables, summary tables, and charts, and interactive report pack decks
* A team player with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
* Confident and customer-focused in communicating both by telephone and face-to-face

**What We Offer**

* A temporary contract until at least the end of December 2024 with the possibility of ongoing extension
* Working on site 35 hours per week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
* A pay rate of £14.53 per hour
