Job Summary:

Alma Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Buyer to join their team. As a key member of the procurement team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Buyer in sourcing products, researching competitors and market trends, managing suppliers, and negotiating prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Sourcing: Assist the Senior Buyer in identifying and sourcing high-quality products that meet the company's requirements.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research on competitors and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Purchase Order Management: Raise and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays.
  • Sample Management: Organize and manage product samples, and write accurate product descriptions for the company website.
  • Customer Quality Issues: Resolve any customer quality issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Numerical Skills: Possess strong numerical skills and be proficient in Excel.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Team Player: Be an excellent team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Written English: Have a good standard of written English.
