Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Buyer in sourcing products, including researching and selecting suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing product samples.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any quality issues.
  • Accurately record and manage product information, including product descriptions, specifications, and pricing.
  • Organize and maintain product samples, including preparing and presenting samples for selection, range reviews, and photo shoots.
  • Support the Buyer in managing product catalogs, including writing product descriptions and ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any quality issues or providing additional information.
  • Work closely with the Buying team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good standard of written English and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in using Excel and other productivity software.
  • A positive and can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Driving license, as the role requires occasional travel to suppliers and other locations.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days spent in the office and the remaining days worked remotely. The role requires occasional travel to suppliers and other locations, and the successful candidate will need to have a driving license.
