Cameo Consultancy is a dynamic and growing company that specializes in lifestyle products. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

The Buying Assistant will support our Homeware Buyers in all day-to-day activities, from liaising with suppliers to working with internal teams to resolve any questions or issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Buyer with ordering samples from suppliers and managing sample selection ranges and photo shoots.
  • Manage all administration for samples, including invoice processing and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of range performance.
  • Put together detailed product content for web and catalogue use and maintain the buying process of all product ranges.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure accuracy and specification of new products and liaise with warehouse and suppliers regarding any quality issues.
  • Organize travel and accommodation for the Buyer and perform any other administrative duties as required.

Key Skills Required

  • Experience within buying or supply chain is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident communicator and able to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Adaptable in a changing environment and possess strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Able to work on own initiative and have own transport, due to the remote location.
