Alma Personnel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our team. As a Buying Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Buyer in sourcing products for our catalogues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Accurately record information on spreadsheets and manage paperwork related to product sourcing.
  • Organize and coordinate product samples for selection, range reviews, and photo shoots.
  • Write detailed and accurate product descriptions for web and catalogue copy.
  • Resolve any quality issues or provide additional information to customers and warehouse teams.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good standard of written English and experience in using Excel.
  • Positive and can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Driving license due to the location of our office.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days spent in the office and the remaining days working remotely. On certain buying days, you will be required to work full-time in the office.
