About the Role:
Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd is in search of a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to enhance our client's operational team and support their ongoing success.


This position involves a diverse range of maintenance responsibilities across various machinery and systems within a distribution center.


Company Overview:
Our client is a prominent player in the distribution sector, recognized for their extensive experience and multi-site storage capabilities.


Working Hours:
This role operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with an early finish on Fridays. The technician will be part of an on-call rotation every three weeks, with remote access to the facility. On-site attendance may be necessary depending on specific situations, along with coordination with external contractors.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on facility equipment to reduce downtime.
- Perform both electrical and mechanical tasks.
- Execute troubleshooting and repairs on various systems and equipment.
- Advocate for risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
- Embrace opportunities for training on specialized machinery and systems.
- Assist in regular inspections and testing procedures.

- Experience in warehouse settings, particularly with mechanical and electrical systems in temperature-regulated environments.
