About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Village Hotels - Glasgow. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel rooms are clean, comfortable, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that rooms are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning standards throughout the hotel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all guest needs are met and exceeded.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to guest complaints in a professional manner.
