Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Drive sales growth by delivering exceptional customer service through LIDS selling techniques.
  • Emphasize sales and product customization.
  • Always prioritize the needs of the customer.
  • Provide extensive brand and product knowledge.
  • Engage actively in learning about our offerings to enhance the customer experience.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Meet or surpass company objectives in all personal performance metrics.
  • Contribute to building a loyal customer base that frequently returns to the store.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing.

Brand Representation: Uphold the LIDS image by;

  • Maintaining a professional appearance in line with the Company Dress Code Policy.
  • Exhibiting a positive attitude towards our Company both in and out of the workplace.
  • Implementing effective visual merchandising.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization within the store.
  • Managing stock replenishment effectively.
  • Consistently maintaining store standards.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

Expense Management

  • Safeguard Company assets in accordance with LIDS Retail policies.
  • Assist in managing store inventory, including processing shipments and organizing merchandise.
  • Support accurate product counts in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all LIDS Retail policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

  • Be knowledgeable of and comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations that may affect yourself, colleagues, or visitors to the store. This includes reporting any damage to store fixtures and responding appropriately to accidents by notifying store management.
Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred; however, a strong passion for customer service and a commitment to providing memorable experiences for every customer is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Enthusiasm for LIDS products with a desire to continuously enhance product knowledge.
  • Willingness to work additional hours to cover for absences or during busy periods.
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to operate till/EPOS systems.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
  • Proficient in reading and using a computer.
  • Standing for extended periods is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.
