Job Overview
The Royal Marsden is a leading cancer centre in Europe, renowned for its high-quality care and innovative treatments. As a Band 7 Paediatric and TYA Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise shifts, ensuring effective communication with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-led care to patients.
- Exercise clinical judgment and decision-making skills to assess patient needs and develop long-term plans.
- Participate in the organization and running of clinical trials, including patient recruitment, education, and monitoring.
Key Requirements
- NMC Registration
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- RMH Certificate in Intravenous Drug Administration or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
- Qualification in oncology or speciality
- Experience in chemotherapy administration
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical trials management
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
