Tax Senior Manager

Our client operates within prominent International Financial Centres (IFCs) including the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man. Known for their innovative approach, they combine deep industry knowledge with a multidisciplinary strategy to deliver exceptional services that drive value for their clients, employees, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a variety of engagements, including international tax projects, direct and indirect tax advisory, and compliance engagements across multiple sectors.
- Work as part of multidisciplinary and multijurisdictional teams, providing specialist tax advice on complex issues such as global tax strategy and structure, domestic tax advisory/compliance (including VAT, stamp duty, and business licenses), and more.
- Report to the Tax partner on running assignments.
- Lead by example in client relationships, technical quality, service delivery, and commercial aspects.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory rules.
- Play a key role in people development activities, including coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance/economics, or law.
- Advanced Diploma in International Tax is desirable.
- Membership in a recognized accountancy body (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., li>Successful track record of new business origination within International Tax projects.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in a public accounting firm.
- Experience with UK/Ireland or Canadian Tax.
- Excellent commercial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Full proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and electronic research tools.
