About the Role
As our Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the non-clinical areas of our care home, including food and beverage service, and housekeeping. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences, ensuring that every resident feels valued and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth operation of non-clinical areas, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Lead and manage a team of hospitality staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Develop and implement hospitality service standards and SOPs, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Manage departmental financial targets and operating costs, ensuring alignment with company budgets.
- Ensure accurate stock levels, minimize breakage and wastage, and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and service delivery.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service in a care home or similar setting. You will have a strong understanding of hospitality operations, including food and beverage service, housekeeping, and customer service. You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in hospitality management, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on coaching, training, and development.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage service, housekeeping, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and meeting deadlines.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and kind, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
