Safety Assurance Specialist

Matchtech is seeking a skilled Safety Assurance Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our projects and programs across various domains.

About the Role:
  • Conduct thorough safety analyses following strict safety processes and guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of Safety Reports and Safety Cases.
  • Utilize safety assurance methodologies such as risk assessment, verification, and validation.
  • Participate in periodic Safety Reviews and help close out findings from internal and external assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Achieve 'GO' status in Safety Gate Reviews.
  • Minimize rework from internal and external assessment findings.
  • Deliver high-quality inputs for safety assessments and reviews.
  • Ensure timely identification and resolution of safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Advanced University or Engineering degree.
  • Proficiency in English, particularly in reading and writing technical documentation.
  • Knowledge in System, Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • Understanding of Hardware and/or Software systems.
Experience:
  • Open to beginners in safety assurance with relevant domain-specific experience.
  • Familiarity with Cenelec Standards for Safety or equivalent standards.
  • At least two years of experience in safety assurance for complex projects is a plus.
