We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ayrshire and Arran. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with colleagues to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote patient independence.
  • Manage a caseload, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective networks with colleagues across health, local authority, and partner agencies.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Provide education and promotion to relevant stakeholders, utilizing effective communication skills, including presentation, written reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • A Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are essential requirements.
  • Completion of Flying Start and demonstration of a sound understanding of Occupational Therapy through CPD, Post Graduate training, evidence of additional knowledge, and experience.
  • Variety of clinical experience working in a relevant specialty.
  • Current Health and Care Professions Council Registration.
  • Evidence of sound clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with multi-agencies.
  • Evidence of development of leadership and supervision skills.
  • Commitment to team and personal development, with evidence of self-directed learning.
  • Mandatory and Statutory training (MAST) and role-specific MAST.
Working Arrangements

37 hours per week, with part-time and flexible working considered. A UK driving license and car ownership are essential for this role.
