Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our Enhanced Community Dementia Service in Argyll and Bute. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist dementia care and support to individuals and their families.

About the Role:
  • Facilitate rapid access to diagnosis, treatment, and crisis prevention and intervention
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-professional dementia team to develop and implement care plans
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of locality-based specialist dementia care
  • Support the prevention of avoidable hospital admissions and timely discharge from hospital
About the Team:

Our team is comprised of mental health nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, senior healthcare support workers, and Alzheimer Scotland post-diagnostic link workers. We work closely with Community Health Services, Mental Health, Primary Care, and other agencies to provide comprehensive care and support.
