Job Title: Clinical Executive
InterSystems UKI is seeking a seasoned Clinical Executive to join our UKI Executive team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with our Product, Sales, and Implementation teams to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Healthcare Analytics, Evidence-Based Medicine, Clinical Quality Measures, Accountable Care, and Clinical Decision Support, providing strategic insights to our Executive leadership and product development teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with national organizations, such as the Department of Health and NHS Transformation Unit, to provide strategic guidance on behalf of InterSystems.
- Review medical informatics trends, experiences, and approaches, developing technical and application implementation strategies to inform our strategic plans for health information systems.
- Provide healthcare technology expertise to our product, sales, and marketing management teams to ensure the successful positioning of our industry solutions and go-to-market tactics.
- Provide market-driven information for product strategy and development direction, leveraging industry expertise and direct interaction with customers, prospects, analysts, and other external resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key consultancies, and system integrators to establish focused and effective strategic teaming arrangements.
- Represent InterSystems at clinical societies, advocacy groups, and medical advisory boards.
- Deliver the InterSystems strategy to senior leaders and peers in the UK Healthcare market.
- Direct strategic issues, investment, or partnering decisions, and actions regarding key regulatory demands and requirements.
- Provide clinical and product input to all InterSystems and customer teams, including Delivery, Product, and Support, to increase clinical knowledge and adoption.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong grasp of clinical workflow in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an interest in health information systems and outcomes measurement.
- Be a contemporary clinician who understands major trends in healthcare and managed care, and is familiar with point-of-care products and medical informatics trends and tools.
- Be a strong leader with a mature sense of priorities and solid practical experience, able to design and implement systems within the framework of technical boundaries.
- Effectively communicate with a diversity of personalities.
- Be approachable and present data with effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build consensus.
- Have direct experience with Healthcare Analytics, Clinical Decision Support systems, Evidence-Based Medicine, Clinical Quality Measures, and Electronic Health Record systems.
- Have clinical domain knowledge and credibility within the healthcare community.
- Have interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and time management skills.
- Have experience in the planning, selection, implementation, and performance assessment of health IT solutions.
