Electrical Building Services Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join our team at Horizon Building Services Consultants Ltd in York. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and inspecting the installation of electrical services in buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and coordinate electrical services for new build, redevelopment, and refurbishment projects
  • Survey and inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Work closely with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality electrical services
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry standards

Requirements

  • ONC Building Services, HNC Building Services, or a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in electrical building services design and coordination
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
