Electrical Engineer Opportunity at Arup

Arup is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing buildings that maximize value for our clients while minimizing their environmental impact.


About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with excellent design and technical skills to work on a range of projects, including healthcare, data centers, labs, commercial, residential, education, energy, sport, and mixed-use developments. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting local projects, such as the North Manchester General Hospital and Manchester Town Hall.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop electrical building services for our projects, ensuring compliance with UK codes and standards.
  2. Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects from feasibility to completion.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying your knowledge to improve our services.

Requirements
  1. Chartered status as an Electrical Engineer.
  2. Knowledge of UK codes and standards.
  3. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  4. Experience working within a BIM environment using Revit.
  5. BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
