At Vale of Glamorgan Council, we are committed to enhancing community well-being through active engagement in sports and physical activities. Our initiatives are designed to serve individuals across all age groups, from children to seniors.
Position Overview
As a sports coach within our Healthy Living Team, you will be instrumental in fostering greater involvement in athletic pursuits. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating sports sessions for youth in educational settings during breaks or after school hours.
- Coordinating community sports initiatives, either autonomously or in partnership with other organizations, during weekends or holiday periods.
- Leading interactive sessions aimed at families with young children.
- Engaging in community outreach programs focused on specific demographics, including women and older adults.
