Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing expertise and reporting on our clinical systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that we are getting the most out of our clinical systems and producing key reporting output. This will involve working closely with our service delivery team to provide a clear picture of performance and efficiency.

The role will support our NHS services area of the business, with a focus on improving how we use our clinical system, configuring, and setting up new opportunities for better system utilization. You will pull out key information and present outputs to the service delivery team, providing them with the necessary information to make informed business decisions.

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Providing support in setting up the CRM/ERP and urgent care modules
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in how the clinical systems are used and rolling out effective solutions
  • Supporting the deployment of new clinical systems into the business
  • Building and understanding clinical templates to identify the right way to pull data via reporting
  • Reporting on key clinical system metrics to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high data quality
  • Building and supporting new ways of clinical reporting to support data utilization
  • Providing input into policies and procedures within the clinical systems and making recommendations for improvement
  • Analysing and documenting simple to highly complex workflows, information, data collection, and reporting requirements
  • Being an expert in the clinical system by troubleshooting problems and addressing questions from end users regarding the application

The successful candidate should:

  • Have a BA or Hons Degree in IT/Technology
  • Have working knowledge of primary care clinical systems (S1, EMIS, etc...)
  • Have working knowledge of systems and project life-cycle
  • Have experience of testing user systems and reporting
  • Have experience of working on systems deployments into an operation
  • Have prior knowledge of primary care
