UPS Limited is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance work on a large fleet of vehicles, including HGVs and light vehicles.
- Carry out regular maintenance inspections, complete online records, and stock control.
- Work as part of a team with a focus on quality to achieve reliability and maintenance targets.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics.
- Initiative, planning skills, and a flexible, enthusiastic approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A C1, 7.5 tonne licence would be an advantage, though isn't essential.
- A competitive hourly rate of £18.63, depending on experience, plus shift premiums and location allowance (if applicable).
- A signing-on bonus of £1,000 (£500 upon commencing employment & £500 after month 6).
- Opportunity for overtime at time and a half.
