About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences team at SYNLAB UK & Ireland. As a Trainee Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting routine and specialist testing, providing patient-centered scientific excellence while maintaining high quality standards in accordance with ISO15189.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret routine and specialist testing
  • Provide patient-centered scientific excellence
  • Maintain high quality standards in accordance with ISO15189
Requirements
  • IBMS accredited degree in Biomedical Science
  • HCPC registration (to be obtained within 12 months of employment)
  • Proven experience of working within a team
  • Ability to organise and plan own work and work under pressure
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain complex information and results to service users
