Trainee Biomedical Scientist in Haematology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join our team in Haematology. As a Trainee Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting routine and specialist testing, providing patient-centered scientific excellence while maintaining high quality standards in accordance with ISO15189.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret routine and specialist testing in Haematology
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new testing procedures and protocols
  • Participate in the training and development of junior staff members
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing results and patient information
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff members to ensure smooth laboratory operations

Requirements:

  • IBMS accredited degree in Biomedical Science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
