This position is tasked with enhancing governance and executing the Manager Control Assessment, ensuring the integrity and precision of the Control Framework, while also aiding in the identification and management of risks across multiple categories. The role demands exceptional communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance governance and execute the Manager Control Assessment
- Assist in the implementation of the Control Framework and Risk Control Policy
- Investigate root causes of issues and propose corrective measures
- Oversee control breaches and disseminate insights for process enhancement
- Evaluate and challenge the design and management of controls
- Assess and manage risk exposures across diverse categories
- Identify and address Operational and Compliance Risk incidents
- Support risk and control evaluations for various initiatives
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and policies
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, and Visual Basic
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Effective skills in organizational influence
- Experience in managing third-party vendors is preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
