We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Activity Residential Care (ARC) team. As a key member of our residential childcare team, you will provide exceptional care and support to vulnerable children, helping them to build self-esteem and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide unconditional care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and everyday needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including a balanced diet and routine.
  • Support children to access education and health appointments.
  • Complete daily records and contribute to reports and assessments.
  • Develop and implement activities to promote self-esteem, safety, and personal strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
  • Support and promote a positive safeguarding culture.
  • Engage in promoting creativity, openness, and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and resilient with a commitment to being a positive role model.
  • Able to work overnight sleep-ins as part of the role.
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviors.
  • Flexible and able to work a residential care rota, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
Desirable Requirements
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car due to rural locations.
  • Experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment or another professional setting.
