Job Title: HR Business Partner

St. James's Place is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives by providing expert HR advice and guidance to senior managers and directors.

About the Role:
  • Provide HR partnering services to support the delivery of the People Plan and organizational change initiatives.
  • Manage the relationship with senior managers and directors, providing coaching and advice on HR-related matters.
  • Identify and resolve diverse HR issues, including reward, recruitment, culture, job evaluation, and salary benchmarking.
  • Support the promotions process and ensure the centrally defined process is adhered to.
  • Undertake job evaluations and provide expertise and challenge.
  • Provision and analysis of MI to ensure key people metrics are shared with the SPP and more broadly.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and general HR/Employee Relations best practices.
  • Broad HR generalist experience to enable the resolution of diverse HR issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to apply emotional intelligence and diplomacy to a diverse range of people and situations.
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills, building trusted relationships across the business at all levels.
  • Good understanding of key employee life cycle events, including induction, development planning, and leavers.
  • Experience from working within a regulatory environment, ideally from working within the financial services sector.
What We Offer:
  • Non-Contributory Pension – 10% (increasing with length of service up to 15%) with further pension matching.
  • Parental leave – 6 months full pay.
  • 28 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (based on full-time equivalent) with the option to buy up to an additional 5 days holiday.
