Job Title: 2nd Line IT Support Technician

Your new company Hays is working with a leading online retailer based in Worcester. This company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Technician.

About the Role

As a 2nd Line IT Support Technician, you will be able to develop a strong internal IT framework and enhance cybersecurity and internal procedures. You will be overseeing all IT hardware, managing Microsoft Office accounts, coordinating with external IT support and other IT stakeholders, setting up new Gmail accounts, and addressing general IT issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently handle second line support, addressing escalations, technical enquiries, and problem-solving
  • Implement secure firewalls
  • Oversee the management and deployment of the ISO 27001 system
  • Develop and manage Cyber policies
  • Travel across sites may be necessary based on business requirements
