We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team at an award-winning Financial Planning practice based in Ipswich. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in assisting Wealth Planners with the delivery of Wealth Planning services to new and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include liaising with Wealth Planning administrators and Wealth Planners to ensure all required information for report production is obtained in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring product research is kept up to date, producing client reports within agreed timescales, and obtaining and preparing paperwork required for client meetings and business submission. Additionally, you will deal with all forms of client communications, including arranging client meetings for the Wealth Planners, and build technical knowledge to achieve chartered financial planner status. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services market and be able to maintain a high volume of work while striving for continual improvements. They will also be able to present a positive image and approach to change, and actively participate in the sharing of knowledge to both Wealth Planners and Investment Managers. The successful candidate will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent, fully or part qualified CII DipPFS as a minimum, and have at least 12 months industry experience in administration or paraplanning role. Previous use of First software or Intelliflo is advantageous, as is previous use of Voyant or alternative Cashflow software.
