Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading our quality management system and ensuring that it meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of our quality management system
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards
- Train and develop quality team members
- Manage internal and external audits
- Implement corrective action plans
- Champion change management processes
- Address customer complaints and implement root cause analysis
- Translate customer requirements into internal workflows
- Ensure new process development aligns with customer approvals
- Prioritize employee safety and engage with the shop floor to address quality issues
- Provide systems to ensure departmental targets are exceeded
- Operate within budget and propose future requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven background in quality management, ideally within an engineering context
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong time management and analytical skills
- Ability to interact with people at all levels
- Ability to recognize training needs and recommend development strategies
- Strong background in continuous improvement, preferably Green Belt certified
- Ability to manage the quality department to exceed KPIs and expected departmental performance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lead Auditor certification
- Lean management background
- Quality processes expertise
- Metallurgical background is a bonus
