The Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a graduate engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including healthcare and hotels.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Producing detailed designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Undertaking site surveys and research
  • Collaborating with project teams and clients to deliver projects on time and to budget

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a graduate with a strong academic background in mechanical engineering, preferably with a 2.1 or above degree from a reputable university. Previous experience in a similar industry is an advantage, as is proficiency in CAD software.

We are seeking a friendly, ambitious, and confident individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a flexible and resilient approach to your work.
