Housing Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Management Services Manager to join our team at Yolk Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an outstanding housing service to all areas, including the management of tenancies, allocations, and community safety.
The OpportunityThis is a 5-month fixed-term contract that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. The role will involve leading the delivery of housing management services, including the management of empty homes, tenancy management, community safety, and liaison with partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of an outstanding housing service for all areas, including the management of empty homes, tenancy management, community safety, and liaison with partners.
- Deliver a tenant-centric service and sustained tenancies through an understanding of ACE, trauma-informed care, and related methodologies.
- Proactively monitor and report on performance of all geographical areas, including strategies for addressing areas of underperformance and developing good practice across all neighbourhoods.
- Operational responsibility for the development of policies and processes across the group to ensure that high-quality consistent services are delivered in every location.
- Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent housing and anti-social behaviour management.
- Measure key people performance indicators against success measures to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide vision and leadership to the Neighbourhood team by managing people, performance, development, health and wellbeing issues, and resources effectively and in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage a designated budget ensuring that value for money is achieved in all circumstances through the monitoring and control of expenditure and the early identification of any financial irregularity.
The successful candidate will have excellent level of housing law and practice knowledge, including anti-social behaviour and enforcement. They will also have knowledge of letting properties and experience of coaching and developing team members.
