Job Title: Housing Management Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Management Services Manager to join our team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an outstanding housing service, including the management of tenancies, allocations, and community safety. This is a 5-month fixed-term contract, and the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of housing law and practice, including anti-social behaviour and enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of housing management services, including the management of empty homes, tenancy management, community safety, and liaison with partners.
  • Deliver a tenant-centric service and sustained tenancies through an understanding of ACE, trauma-informed care, and related methodologies.
  • Monitor and report on performance of all geographical areas, identifying areas of underperformance and developing good practice across all neighbourhoods.
  • Operational responsibility for the development of policies and processes to ensure high-quality consistent services are delivered in every location.
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent housing and anti-social behaviour management.
  • Measure key people performance indicators against success measures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide vision and leadership to the Neighbourhood team, managing people, performance, development, health and wellbeing issues, and resources effectively.
  • Manage a designated budget, ensuring value for money is achieved through the monitoring and control of expenditure.
Requirements:
  • Excellent level of housing law and practice knowledge, including anti-social behaviour and enforcement.
  • Knowledge of letting properties.
  • Experience of coaching and developing team members.
