Job Summary

Overview:

The Risk & Control Analyst is tasked with:

Maintaining the CASA UK Operational Risk Framework and executing the control plan; Monitoring and reporting operational incidents affecting the branch; Overseeing operational risks from outsourced activities; Preparing documentation for Paris and London committees regarding CASA UK risk matters.

Additionally, the successful candidate will engage in monitoring financial risks associated with the branch, including FX risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and market risk related to Treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Risk Framework:

Collaborate with various departments (Front-Office, Operations, Accounting, etc.) to maintain the branch's Operational Risk Framework, which includes:
Mapping operational processes across CASA UK departments;

Developing an Operational Risk Matrix; Implementing Level 1 and Level 2.1 control plans; Conducting independent Level 2.2 controls. Participating in the monthly follow-up of Level 1 operational controls executed by CASA UK departments; Conducting independent Level 2.2 controls as per the annual control plan and monitoring action plans for identified weaknesses; Monitoring daily alerts from the atypical transactions monitoring tool and preparing monthly reports.

Operational Incidents:

Documenting incident forms for any operational incidents impacting the branch (including outsourced activities); Assisting CASA UK departments in identifying suitable action plans; Following up on the implementation of these action plans; Producing dedicated reports and updating the Group's operational incidents database.

Risks from Outsourced Activities:

In monitoring risks from outsourced activities, the Risk & Control Analyst will: Review and challenge Risk Indicators provided by service providers' second line of defense; Collaborate with service providers and their permanent control teams on relevant topics, particularly those related to compliance and financial security; Monitor the implementation of action plans concerning operational incidents on outsourced activities; Synthesize these indicators for the 'CASA UK Risk and Controls' committee or 'CASA UK ICC' committee.

Committee Attendance:

The Risk & Control Analyst will participate in the following local committees:

CASA UK Risk and Control committee; CASA UK Internal Control Committee.

The analyst will also assist the Chief Risk Officer in organizing and preparing these committees.

Minimal Education Level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic Qualification / Specialty

Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline

Experience
