The Operational Risk Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the Operational Risk Framework of the branch, which includes mapping operational processes, creating an operational risk matrix, and developing control plans. The role will also involve monitoring operational incidents, identifying action plans, and reporting to the Group's operational incidents database.

Additionally, the Operational Risk Specialist will be responsible for monitoring risks arising from outsourced activities, following up on risk indicators, and liaising with service providers and their permanent control teams.

The role will also involve attending local committees, such as the CASA UK Risk and Control committee and the CASA UK Internal Control Committee, and assisting the Chief Risk Officer in organizing and preparing these committees.

Operational Risk Framework

The Operational Risk Specialist will participate in the maintenance of the Operational Risk Framework, which includes:

  • Mapping operational processes of CASA UK departments
  • Creating an operational risk matrix
  • Developing control plans
  • Monitoring the daily alerts from the atypical transactions monitoring tool
Operational Incidents

The Operational Risk Specialist will be responsible for formalizing incident forms for operational incidents, assisting CASA UK departments in identifying action plans, and performing a follow-up on the implementation of these action plans.

Risks Arising from Outsourced Activities

The Operational Risk Specialist will monitor risks arising from outsourced activities, follow up on risk indicators, and liaise with service providers and their permanent control teams.
