Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR and Payroll Officer to join our team at Reed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processing of monthly payrolls, including permanent and temporary pay amendments, to ensure all employees are paid on time and correctly.
  • Manage all general payroll processes, including pension administration, benefit administration, and overpayments.
  • Manage timesheet processes and monitor completion to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Collate, produce, interpret, and analyze information to provide accurate reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis, including survey feedback and employee sentiment.
  • Identify and analyze trends, monitor compliance, and review general HR performance to inform business decisions.
  • Produce and complete all mandatory reports and surveys, including Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gaps, ONS Surveys, and Government requests.
  • Support the HR team on a wide range of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, amendments, absence, employee relations, leavers, and other HR-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in HR and payroll, with a focus on data and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
