We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Sterile Services Team as a Sterile Services Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the Sterile Services Team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Services Team, including the processing and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies, including ISO 13485:2016.
- Qualifications: Level 3 SSD Supervisors/Managers course in Decontamination of Medical Equipment (or equivalent) or willingness to complete within 12 months of appointment.
- Experience: Previous experience of working in a production or quality-controlled environment, with experience of training and mentoring others.
- Skills and Knowledge: Sound understanding of the quality management system ISO 13485:2016 for medical devices, knowledge of the complete sterile services production process, and good IT skills.

What We Offer- Competitive Salary: £25,147 to £27,596 a year (£26,530 - £29,114 with 24/25 pay award pending)
