Estates Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Manager to join our Facilities & Estates team at Bradford College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational use of our college buildings, ensuring the delivery of a professionally managed service that is effective and efficient, and meets the needs of our college community.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a flexible, multi-skilled professional service that can respond to a range of core business priorities.
- Implement and develop appropriate policies, procedures, and strategies to manage the estates and facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure contracted services meet pre-defined SLAs & KPIs and establish process performance metrics; track, analyze, and report performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, customer satisfaction, and take corrective action where necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment that prioritizes the safeguarding of students, staff, and visitors through proactive and reactive management of all delivered services to our college sites.
- Deliver a managed estate that meets health and safety compliance requirements, our college policies and procedures, and all relevant statutory obligations.
- Visit buildings regularly to carry out audits to ensure defined standards and instructions have been adhered to.
- Monitor and maintain the efficient use of space within the estate, report on student and staff utilization levels, and recommend opportunities for improving utilization/rationalization of the estate.
- Work with the Hard Services Manager to reduce/eliminate energy waste and support our college in its approach to sustainable development and decarbonization of the college estate.
